I asked Miller directly and nothing will work with the unit. It's from 1989 and they don't make any parts for it anymore. That being, does anyone have any XR30 pistol parts laying around ?? I'm looking for drivers and the trigger mechanism. Also interested in finding an optima box

I just picked up an older Miller xr feeder box and all it says on it is XR. I was wondering if I can remove the xr pistol on it and install the newer alumapro xr gun? Thanks guys

I'd scrap the idea of dragging around a shop welder and get a good engine drive like a miller bobcat or trailblazer or a lincoln ranger. These will be the most economical.
