Re: 1st post, how does this look?

looks OK, but like most things, looks are only skin (surface) deep. You should cut through the weld non the test piece , smooth the cut edge and put some acid on it to check for penetration, which is the most important thing.

Fireball Offset Clamp

Mention was made back in December 2018 or January 2019 (I think), that Fireball had an offset clamp coming out in mid-January, but haven't seen any mention of it and it's not on the Fireball site. Anybody know if it's going to happen ??

Fireball Offset Clamp

On a fairly recent past video, Jodie mentioned that Fireball was coming out with an offset clamp in January, 2019 or thereabouts. So far nothing. I could really use a few, but so far have held off cutting a few of mine up to make them, if they'll be available soon - any word on them ?

New guy on the block

I'm an old guy (71), but fairly new to welding. I spent 38-years in the machine tool industry in various capacities, but I've always wanted to learn to weld. I never really had the money when I was younger or time, as I got older. I retired in 2001 and the first thing I did was to buy a a Hobart HH1...
