Thanks very much Dave & Richard. I did find the DGP Tungsten Guide. I do use 2% but was curious as to why there would be a 1% and 1.5% and what would be advantages/disadvantages on specific materials. A quick look thru eBay and the pricing between each are identical (per seller). Best regards Hugh

Can anyone explain the differences between these electrodes? I really don't see a price difference, but why have multiple lanthanated concentrated tungsten?

Didn't mean to seem harsh. Actually, this particular item has educated me quite a bit on aftermarket products for these machines. I guess CK have agreements with their overseas distributors. In regards duties (taxes) in other jurisdictions, they can be what might make or break a sale if that dealer ...

Thanks CJ. Noted: diamond wheel and scotchbrite. I have 2 small bench grinders and will put 2 diamond wheels (120 and 600) on one and dedicate it for the purpose.
