Re: Plasma cutting table build questions

This is what I did for a 4x4’ table. Slats are just bowed and dropped in. ~2.5” spacing.
The hardware cloth is on a frame that can be slid out if needed.
4” pot growing tray for water.
Still working on the CNC part.

Re: welding symbol

Sorta need to see the assembly to make sense of this one.
Below the line, arrow side 1/4” “square groove” , grind
Above the line far side 1/4” fillet
Four corners?

Hope that helps.
Edit Fixed square groove = butt joint

Re: Water Jet or CNC Plasma Cutter?

I don’t like the Wazer, it uses a proprietary web based CAM software. If they go bust your done.
Plasma is much cheaper per inch but also doesn’t have the smoothness of water jet.
Really depends on what you need for a final part.

Re: Help with weld procedures

The way I read it: Other side, .12 bevel of part, .18 bevel weld Arrow side, .12 bevel of part, .18 bevel weld, combination weld .12 Fillet weld. Wrap ends. Take it with a grain of salt. I'm not a welding engineer but have designed weldments in the past. Also any good engineer will be glad to explai...

Re: foot pedal

Just setup a tig button.
Still getting used to it, only issue is there is no feedback for where you are in the amp range.
With a pedal you know if your at 1/4 or 3/4 of the pedal position.
