Well, got mine in yesterday, put it in the truck and today give it a work out , sure was nice to have with me ,two miles in a Kentucky hollow, under a dozer, drilling out bolts, and dulling bits wasn't as bad today. i would recommend it, its a nice tool when you dont have anything else but a handgri...

I know some dont like them ,and yes in 50 years of my life i learned to sharpen by hand, BUT , when im out in some farmers field or working on a logskidder in the middle of the woods. i usually dont have a benchgrinder with me. doing it by hand with a angle grinder is getting old. cant get anywhere ...

Im not a pipe welder but have a 85 year old friend that has retired from welding . he told me that years ago they were not allowed to use the last 4 or5 inches of a rod . something about the rod metal or flux being burned up.

Sorry for leaving you guys hanging, yes i cut my gussets and it went well, been fairly happy with this saw for what it is. mine is a evolution 7 1/4 saw so it would have to have a limit. but if i get my hundred and forty dollars out of it im happy.

No i haven't yet ,but tomorrow is the day,i will be cutting some gussets for a job out of 1/4 x6 flat. i will let you guys know how it gos.

What type / brand of wax stick do you use? we used to use alot of wd 40 on aluminium at the boat shops . but have never used any yet on my cutoff saw here at home for steel ,have been wondering about lubing the blade , just makes sense .
