Re: Plasma Cutter Problems

If you can't get it call Mark from Everlast he is very helpful and knowledgable of the products and can probably give you a fix. His number is 229-457-2598.

Re: newbie asking newbie questions

Everlast make good plasma machines for affordable prices just check all the details out before you buy. I have the plasma and an old black and decker chop saw and that is all I use. Use a straight edge and plasma will do fine. BTW before I got the saw I used plasma for cutting box tube and everything

Re: Plasma Cutter Problems

There were a few times in my futile attempts that I held on for almost 30 whole seconds. But I'm gonna go in the garage here in a minute and give her the ole wipe it off on your sleeve trick and let you know how I make out. I appreciate your help man Did it make a high pitch whine noise when holdin...

Re: New Member Introduction

What is ironic is the fact that Gassaway is the home of the headquarters for Go Mart gas stations. You can say we are good at giving gas away lol. Don't worry the Gassaway jokes won't bother me I married into this town, my home town gets picked on worse.

Re: Plasma Cutter Problems

It's the consumables. I have this problem all the time with my machine. The first time it did it I checked the fuse and like you saw it wasn't blown. I took the tip off and checked to see if my contact tip was loose and twisted on it and it worked after that for a few cuts. Come to find out the cont...

Plenty of power to do small projects and to get some practice in. They have great customer support and a great warranty. Plu...

Re: Multi-Process Machines

I bought a multi process machine that was tig stick plasma because I was on a tight budget and it only cost $750 so I got it. I didnt read the rating on the machine that said it was for occasional use only. It was not rated for the daily use I put it through so I burnt it up in 6 months. A major pro...

Re: Lighting up Christmas

Thank you so much for the compliments! My wife and I have been doing this for a year now and to tell you the truth we are using an Everlast plasma its not a hypertherm or thermal dynamic so anyone can do it just takes a steady hand and a lot of practice. And a tig finger :D Steve I definitely won't ...

Re: Lighting up Christmas

Thank you so much. My wife made the design, using clip art, and we free handed the trees, mountains and the road but used clip art for the motorcycles. We literally got the whole thing done in 24 hours and it was awesome. Except for when I burnt my sinuses. I was too focused and got my face too clos...

Re: Starter Stick Welders

It's funny you should post this, when I was working on the fire pit I was low on gas and wire so i decided to stick weld the whole thing using 7018 and it took multiple passes so I tacked it horizontal then rolled it to 6g position and ran it like a 30" pipe. It was fun since I am not a pipe we...

There are a lot of brave souls on Facebook because there is a lack of respect. I love this site, I love welding and I show that love and share it by respecting the founder, Jody, and the fellow members who are there looking for advice and showing off their work. If you really love welding and you re...
