Turned up the heat a little bit and was quite a bit easier to tack and welded much nicer! Could be using the wrong setup though-9 torch w. 1/16th tungsten. Here's a couple more pics. Thanks for the advice. John.

I just made an extra pass on each vertical leg messing around. No crack. Any recommendations on what you would use for settings for this material thickness. 1/16th tungsten, 1/16 filler. thanks john

First attempt at welding a header flange to stainless tubing. Any pointers on how much heat . 3/8 flange to .065 tubing.

Does your back cap not screw quite all the way up againt the body like my pyrex setup is? I have a little over an 1/8th of an inch gap when tight installed correctly.

So I put welder back in box when I took over to the repair station and one of the handles on box tore off and welder hit the ground. That's what I get for trying to protect the welder. Now hose still needs to be fixed and it has front end damage. Great day.

Well I found the leak. Hose is split right where the crimp fitting is at the back. Any recommendations on where and what type of hose to get?

You can hear a small leak inside when machine is off. I turn off the bottle and leave pressure in the line, within 20 seconds both regulator needles are on 0.

Thanks. Only have about 2 hrs on the welder and about 16 total tig hours. I currently have a small gas leak inside machine. One of the fittings is loose slightly. Im not sure how to get in there or if I should just send it to repair which will take sometime.
