I'm not an expert, but what does the outlet coupling look like?
Since the fitting threads are fairly application-specific, I'd think that would tell you more than the neck markings unless it was a low-pressure cylinder for CO2.

I don't have that helmet, but could it work to slip the lens on top of the wire, only under the circled corners, and lock it down by the wire catching the lens sides with the bends in the wire?

I had a cheaper import welder that had M16 threads instead of a Dinse connector from the torch to the machine, so I suspect that is what they are marketing there.

Have you possibly been welding with the magnet still holding the parts, beyond tacking them in place? Most magnets really don't do well if they are heated above the curie point of the metal they're made of. Thanks for the warning on the 1" tubular webbing being a bit snug. I need to sleeve a new 25' air cooled torch that I just picked up from IOC and hadn't thought about it before this thread reminded me. I just ordered 30' of 1-1/4" hose from an eBay vendor, should see it in a couple of days.

I had similar issues when a torch body had the rubber on the back cap area start hardening and allowed air to be sucked into the shield gas flow.
I replaced it with a new CK handle and the problem went away.

I've had similar when I ended up with a leak at the torch head, and pulled air into the shield gas flow.
If bumping post-flow up a little doesn't fix it, you might start checking for leaks around the cup and back cap.
