If this was me I'd be using a 3/32 sharpened like Oscar has shown with .045"

I would also recommend buying straight lengths in .045 & .030 for this type of work. Also I cut mine in half .

What the others posted, also try adding an extra dab of filler at the end and circle as you extinguish the arc to avoid the crater pits/cracks at the end of your weld.

Inter pass temps vary based on a number of factors, what standard your working to, material, thickness, intended use, joint design etc. It will be called out in your wps.

This is my only complaint about the cooler as well. It is significantly louder than the miller equivalent. I will be following along as I've been considering this as well.
