First time doing more than just reading posts. After following a few threads I realized the replies and post were from real welders not just chat room blow hards. Great vids too.

I've got a 12in long pcs of 14in sch 40 SS and a pump set aside for a liquid cooled tig rig.

Emergency patch

Were I work they have an old fridge (metal insides) with a heater in it keeps it about 110 F. But the rod on my truck sits in the plastic containers with screw on lids. Never had trouble with this and I've had several welds x-rayed. Most on high pressure liquid ammonia lines.
