Hello y'all I am from southern Wisconsin and am currently in high school. I have been welding at school and on a farm for about 4-5 years. I am a big fan of mig and miller welders. I am in no way an expert and would like to preffesioanlly weld someday.

I have a project in which I am planning on cutting some 1/8" sheet metal on top of a used brake drum that is cast iron. I was wondering what I should do to combine the two with a strong bead. Preferably nonstick welding. We have a torch at school. I also can do tig if I could find the right set...
