I have seen retail wire welder wire wipes that claim to have some kind of cleaner and lube. They seem pretty expensive . What I use is a felt boot insole cut into 2in squares and spring clamped on at the spool. This seems to work fine but is there anything that can be added that would perhaps prolong liner life -smoother feed etc.? Thanks. :?:

we just poke the wire through two ear plugs where it goes intp the back of the feed rollers. That or you can make a little bit of sheet metal into a cylinder with scotch brite rolled tightly up inside. (these are cleaners only, never needed wire lube.
