i am sure there is a thread about this somewhere but lets see what u guys think and have to say
hourly charge in shop or mobile service ?
do u charge less the more hours spent on job
do u include how much gases u use ?
how many stick electrodes u use ?
grinding wheels saw blades etc ?
do u put incidental cost on ur invoice or just hide it in ur total cost ?
fuels used ?
are u itemizing invoices?
i had a customer go kinda postal on me and i was curious what other guys do

hoping this turns in to a good informative chat and not a huge pissing contest so lets have it guys

I'm in south central Alaska and charge $80/hr in the shop and $100/hr in the field. This price includes basic consumables. I'm a little less than most shops in my area because my overhead is very low and this is a side job for me at this time.
