Live in Clearwater, put the shutters on the windows, turned off the power and water and went to Orlando hoping for the best.

I know we have several members that will be in harms way, stay safe

My wife is sheltering with her family in Titusville, in an up-to-code concrete-block house. God knows how, but they purchased a generator two days ago to replace the smoked one I can't get there to fix. With the westerly track, I think they'll be fine.

I'm concerned for a friend in Tampa, though.

Yep, he checked in on FB this morning. He'll get wet, and might have to duck tornados, but he's much safer there.

Sometimes...

With a hurricane you have to start like 50 miles away from it due to the freakin winds. As a secondary hope, hurricane Josè doesn't hit either on Florida or anywhere.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.
