Must have welding clamps

Postby Sleeperls » Wed Jan 03, 2018 9:27 pm

Ive got the basic multi degree cheap magnets and one of the tack helpers from stringhand that i saw in the videos. Basic deep throat vicegrips.

Ive got by all thse years doing mig work with the magnets and vice grips. Looking to add, but dont want to spend a fortune.

Really looming for something reasonable that can hold 4 to 5 inch tubing for tacking etc.

My welding is mainly turbo kits for autos, and general auto fab.

You should simply make your own version of these:

Or like this:

Or these:

You can of course be a bit more elegant and use some cut tubing, make some threaded bungs, and notch them with a hole saw or what not.... But if you are welding turbo inlets, surely you can fabricate one?
