Attention folks -

There is a welding supply company "rescue welding" out east that is going out of business and they are selling all their inventory at their cost + actual shipping. Great deals to be had on filler rod, abrasives, gloves, etc. Cheaper than anywhere else you'll find, basically, (if you are not in the business of supplying welding equipment yourself.)

I don't have any affiliation with them, aside from just making one purchase and being pretty happy with the deals I got. Need to act quickly though, before they close up shop.

"Matt" was good to deal with and he even accepted paypal.

Their contact info:
20 Rescue Lane
Somersworth, NH 03871
603-692-9940
rob@rescuewelding.com (note this will be read by "Matt")

Here is what I paid for the stuff I got:
1/16" TIG filler rod 309LSI $3.50 / lb
1/8" TIG filler rod 5356 $3.00 / lb
3/32" TIG filler rod 5356 $2.50 / lb
3/32" 70S6 TIG filler rod $1.45/lb
Nickel 55 3/32" electrode for cast iron $11.35/lb
1/8"x18" "alumite" zinc-aluminum filler rod $7.50/lb
54N63 large gas lens cup insulator, $3.50/ea
Revco 850M Elkskin gloves, $12.50/ea
D247A 4.5" aluminum grinding wheel $1.50 / ea
PS2G 2" course scothbrite plastic roloc disc $.55 / ea
PS2F 2" fine scotchbrite disc $.55 / ea
PS2C 2" x-course scotchbrite disc $.55 / ea
PS3M 3" medium scotchbrite disc $.80 / ea
ultra bright aluminum cleaner solution, $4.25 / ea
6"x9" maroon "scotch-brite" like hand pads: $.50/ea

They are charging actual UPS group shipping costs (for my ~45 lb order, it ran an extra ~$1 / lb.) Packaging was good and shipped out promptly.

Hope this helps someone out!
