I just put a new 3024C Cat engine in my Big 40 and need help on breaking in the new engine.
The Miller website says for the first 50 hours , do not use it under 200 amps...... yikes!!!
Does anyone have a suggestion or tips on break in besides burning 3/16" rods for 50 hours??
Thanks........

You should have taken the Big 40 to the dump and bought a SA-200 or SA-250

take it to a miller service center, i don't know another place that has a "Variable Load Bank" or a Variac ,
would you also have to put a heavy load on the power outlets?
