why does this welder have a circle around the 75 amp. position??

I asked some guys over on another forum about your question. One of them says that in the .pdf manual, that at that setting the unit can run continuously for one hour, and seems to be independent of the normal duty cycle ratings listed. He said he wasn't too sure, but that's what he got from the manual. Other than that, it never mentions anything about it.

On another note, I ran one of those tombstones at that setting for nearly a full day with 3/32 when building a horse fence.
