Came across the grinder on a trade and cant find any marking on it any where. I realize if I open the motor case it may say what it is but why do that when it runs like a champ. Does any one know what it is? I pulled the bottom cover off and it has two capacitors assuming a start and run? Also it does not want to start when it is very cold out, ( TEXAS cold 30f) haha. could that be a capacitor not working properly?

Get a decal and call it what you want.

Haha yea was wondering just for bragging purposes because I didn't give much for it . Wouldn't be a bad thing if it was an lincoln but would look better if it had some blue in it. Pictures are upside down because I don't know how to run a computer , maybe I don't know rille.

I believe your bench grinder is a Dayton or a knock off very similar to one. I have one just like yours and will get a pic up for you to compare.

Nope, won't work.
I painted my Everlast blue and it made it worse.
Leave it red, and put an Amsoil decal on it.
It start then.

Now I know you see the wood stand and just want to point out that this is the way I purchased this grinder and I only use it for tungsten grinding. Still not a good idea to mount one on a wood stand though.
Anyway, here is the pic of my Dayton bench grinder.
