Hi everyone,
I have to repair a bronze statue that was stolen and cut to pieces.
Fortunately all the parts were retrieved and I will have to rebuild and chisel back the details.
Here is my question:
What type of machine do I need to accomplish this task.
Material is cast bronze, it means lots of impurities, average section is 1/4 inch (can be 3/8)
And the overall casting weight is about 600lb.
I have already used silicone bronze rod to tack the parts together.
I plan on buying a new TIG machine that could sustain the heat of reassembling the parts
together.
Is this something I could do with a 200 amp inverter, 220V machine?
Thanks for your interest in this matter!
Best regards
Francois
