mig weld ripple appearance

I am still curious about the stack of dimes ripple appearance of mig welds. While I know this isn't real important to some welders, I havn't been able to get the appearance I want. I like the melted in flat weld look that still has the stack of dimes appearance of ripples.I know this is possible and I have seen it. I know about the whipping technique and this isn't what makes this affect I want. Does anyone have a wire motion to get this weld appearance? Please include photos or a video or the motion drawn on paper. I've been mig welding 40 yrs. now and still work full time.
