I was wondering which one would be the better purchase. Duty cycle is better on the everlast if you can trust the ratings. For 500 dollars more should I just go with the rebel. Or am I missing another welder. I like the idea of dual voltage machines. Thanks for any suggestions

If it was my money it would be ESAB all the way. Esab has much better customer service, you can get repairs locally versus having to mail the Everlast unit back to them at your expense. Plus you hear far fewer horror stories about ESAB than you hear about Everlast

Talk about mixing apples and oranges. Both of the machines the OP mentioned are wire feed/MIG welders. The Primeweld is a TIG welder. That's like someone asking "should I buy a ford or a chevy" and your answer is "I bought an airplane". LOL

My sincere apologies. I confused the everlast 255 with the 275.
Can you ever forgive me?
