I'd appreciate any tips on repairing Jon boats or pontoons. They are thin, dirty, out of position patches.

Thanks

Epoxies and rivets. Forget welding.

Chuck,

I have a lot of experience welding thin, half-rotten, dirty aluminum, and I have to agree with Antorcha...
Where possible, glue it and screw it.

It can be welded, but it's not always the best solution.
