Any chamce of using suit case wire feeders with dc engine welders ?? Maybe get JD to compare with fluxcore dual shield setup see if theres much difference in his setup and engine supply power. Chucke2009 did one but be good to have your take on the set up. Cheers.

I have ran my ESAB off several Powcon machines, my TA LM300, and a TA predator engine drive. Similar performance with all machines. Solid wire only though.

Thanks for reply. Im trying to gather info for a friend who does a lot of on site welding and generally uses power sources that are on site. But told him to look down this route.
