Hi guys! My name is Dennis and I am a dairy farmer in Portugal.

I like welding. Have been stick welding most of my life (iI'm 37) but recently bought a Mig welder. Never had used one before but I allready like it! Looking forward to learn some stuff on here and answer if I can.

Thanks guys. I watched a lot of Jody's videos, really enjoy his skills and knowledge. I bought a Mig welder at an auction a few weeks ago. It's a 330 amp KRUPP. Not sure if someone on here is familiar with that brand? I took some parts out of my scrap pile, cleaned them and tried the machine. When I finally understood the settings I started on a bigger project with my nephew who was here a couple of weeks to help us. I had a trailer that got damaged last year. We cut the front part of the chassis off with the plasma cutter and welded in a new piece of C channel ( 300 mm tall) boxed it up and welded the hinges for the drawbar to it. Galvanised steel so not the easiest to weld... Here's one of my first vertical welds

We'll take your word.

The photo upload does that... Assumes the long side is the horizontal.

Nice weld!
