Hi, my name is Marten. New to welding for sure. Bought a project truck a couple of years ago and building it into my dream. Thought I should learn to weld so I can do the work myself. Learning and was told of this web site, so here I am. Wanted to put a picture of it my avatar but says my picture is to big. Not being much of a computer guy, don't know how to change it. May try and use my phone camera and see if that makes a small pic.
Guess I will have to learn how to post a pic here as well. Can't figure it out right now.

Welcome, Marten,

There's a topic on posting pictures under the heading, "How to Use the Forum" that explains several ways to share pictures here. These include uploading directly (size restricted), sharing IMG code form a hosting site like tinypic or photobucket, or simply sharing a link. There's more than one way to skin this cat.
