Hello. I am a neon glass bender by trade. I've been welding glass for many years. For the last couple of years I have been
teaching myself how to weld and shape metal primarily to make interesting and decorative objects to add my neon to. I started
with O/A but have moved on to TIG. Jody, his videos and this site have been a big help to me. I also am a proud owner of a
Tig finger. Works great. Thanks

Welcome, Rafe,

I love the glass arts, and once applied to apprentice at a neon shop. I was one of several, and didn't stand out at that age, so I missed that opportunity. I've manipulated glass and enjoy the nature of it.

I look forward to seeing how you combine your new metal skills with neon!

I also want to talk to you about getting a serious 15Kv or larger transformer so I can build a bigger Jacob's Ladder. Mine is a little thing on a 5Kv ... :ugeek:
