Hello everyone.

I'm just starting to rebuild the floor pans on my old car.

I have a Chinese 200 amp inverter TIG /Plasma cutter.

I've done some plasma cutting and now, I want to learn
how to replace panels on my car.

I see a tig aluminum forum, but is there a better place for me
to post questions about 18 gauge automotive steel butt welding ?

I also have a Lincoln 180c Mig machine, but tig looks more precise.

I have five grandsons who all call me Grandpa .... you can too !!

Hello and welcome! That heading for tig is fine. You may not always get answers the same day, but after a few days usually someone will start to help you get the info you need. Try to be as detailed as you can and don't be frustrated if we start off trying to help you by asking questions.
I have more questions than answers

Hey Gramps. I'm probably your age. I'm an hour to your west in Town Creek. I have a decent plasma setup ready to go. I'm trying to set up a basic DC stick welder and also an aluminum MIG setup. Can we help each other???
