North Alabama Effort

Greetings from Town Creek, Alabama. I've "welded" for years but am seriously attempting to improve and broaden my capabilities. I desire to weld mild steel and aluminum, thick and thin....from .062 to 1". I use old refurbished equipment. Synchrowave 250, Airco CV-250, Thermal Dynamics PAK10 Plasma cutter, Kalamazoo 13AW horizontal bandsaw and more. My skills are novice level. HELP!!!! And if there's a youngster around who can learn in my shop....you're invited.
