Hello

My name is Jonny from the northern parts of Sweden. Like most of us that are into welding I think that Jody is a big source of knowledge and inspiration. Since I have noticed some differences between welding in the US with europe I have also created a YouTube channel where I fill in the blanks were I think there are pieces missing on YouTube.

Right now I have made 4 different videos

6g 7018 all the way ( 7018 open root welding)
https://youtu.be/RGxIs2a0rR8

6g tig ( sunken Russian oil rig and Nazi heavy water edition)
https://youtu.be/4TgDeGzS3Xg

How to stickweld the holly shit gap ( open root 8mm gap with 7018 )
https://youtu.be/pOvjcGhzQ4E

6g stainless stick welding (single layer.)
https://youtu.be/eXv_TPraJkk

And soon a stainless 6 g multi layer is coming up with stick. All videos are with quite good arc shoots. Not Jody quality but we all have been newbies at some point in life.

Regards nsw
Mike

Welcome. I appreciate the vids. I’ve been wondering about the use of a remote while stick welding.
I have more questions than answers

Yeah that is one of differences I have noticed. I wonder how that come, we have been using remote for at least 30 years and u will have a hard time finding any 6010 on this side of the pond.
