Hello Everyone,

I have been reading this forum for a few months as I have been trying to get a start on welding as part of my blacksmithing hobby. Finally needed to register so I could post a question I had about oxyfuel equipment. It is a pleasure to join you all, I expect I will be highly reliant on help from all of you as welding is something I have very, very little experience with. I picked up an Esab Rebel EMP 215ic and an oxy/acetylene rig to learn with so this should be fun. PS, I live in Michigan and spend lots of time in both the Lansing and Alpena areas. I am always looking for teachers so if anyone in those areas would like to spend a couple days teaching a newbie let me know! I haven't been able to find any welding classes outside of community college settings thus far so finding something smaller and that is days or a couple weeks rather than a full semester would be fantastic.

Thanks!
Mike
