Hello folks, thanks for having me. I'm not new to welding but up until a year ago I only did stick welding with my old Wards AC/DC 240V buzz box. But then I started watching some YouTube videos and discovered that imported inverter units had a manageable price tag so I picked up an Amico 180A dual voltage flux core unit and an Amico Tig/plasma/stick dual voltage unit. I'm sure I'll get what I paid for in longevity but for now they're working out well for learning. I'm also putting together an oxy/acetylene setup for cutting and heating primarily but I may try out welding with it too if the desire strikes me some time. I'm quite sure I'll have plenty of questions once I start learning in earnest. Hopefully I don't get too much flack for buying 2 Chinese welders! Anyway I'll be digging into the topics and taking copious notes!
