Self and YouTube taught Mig and Tig welder. I had a small fabrication shop here in the DC metro area. Started with odd jobs like lawn mower repairs, outdoor furniture repair, even did some much bigger stuff like a spring loaded folding ramp for a box truck used in landscaping. Figuring those springs out was a real trick. 400 lbs of folding ramp that was 12 feet long. From there I was hire build some furniture legs as a one off for a local woodworker and that turned into a 3 year long partnership. I provided the metal parts and they did the wood. We created a fusion of rustic industrial, metal and old barn wood or metal and live edge wood pieces. Our work even got made it into an HBO documentary about a suitmaker in Brooklyn and into multi million dollar homes and several restaurants in the DC area.

Anyway just poking around to see what's what.
