Glad to have found this Forum and YouTube channel. Jody's videos are excellent and informative. I have watched many of them. I like that he knows how to edit them down to a watchable length.

I have been trying to weld for 30+ years. I don't do much of it and when I did my welds were awful and I am sure not very strong. After watching the basic series and some other mig and flux cores videos I was able to lay down some decent looking beads. The first time ever!

I bought an older backhoe that needs some rust repairs on the cab. My 140 amp Lincoln was not going to be up to the task. I picked up the Hobart Handler 210 MVP. I have been practicing with this new machine and flux core wire in hopes of getting good enough to do a good job.

I am confident my welds are now good for my needs. I am far from a pro but now longer embarrassed and etching test proved my penetration is good.

Thanks!!!
