Hi Outside Chicago, I'm a metal sculptor in retirement, or should I say, "refinement". Was migging carbon, then switched to aluminum w a spool gun Miller 211 then picked up a tig machine (AHP 201XD) which I'm just starting with (and getting frustrated with as well. Too many dials. : ) Thanks

Hello and welcome. You will find lots of info in here from a lot of knowledgeable folks. As far as your machine goes, I think you should read the manual and then visit some sights that will describe the set up procedure and operation of the machine. You can search that machine specifically. There are specific sections on the forum that will help you operate the machine in the different types of welding the machine can do ... tig and stick as far as I can tell. Sometimes it will take some time to get your answers so be patient. Have fun and hood time is the best teacher.
