Beginner/Hobbyist trying to learn a new skill. Engineer by trade, but getting very close to hanging it up and retiring. Decided to give Mig welding a try since I have a few projects in mind (vehicle and homestead) that I want to accomplish. During my career, I've been exposed to welding through my work crews...some of those guys were pure artists. I'm not expecting to reach that level of expertise...just well enough so things don't start falling off my truck as I'm driving down the interstate.
