Just finished a 6 week welding school out in Lincoln Park MI. just south of Detroit put on by UAW-Ford and the WWFS (Wounded Warrior Family Support) They house/fed and trained 10 of us the full 6 weeks and I ended up picking up some AWS certs. I'm into offroad welding Tig/Mig and stick for the trail, mostly self taught until this course. I can lay down a clean bead now but always trying to get better. Don't laugh but welding brought me out of a dark place I enjoy it so much, I helps me forget about all the BS life throws at you, at times while im welding I can almost forget I have leukemia and will do chemo every day. That is what this trade does for me. We all have struggles, don't let life keep you away from layin them beads

Welcome to the house. Happy you're out of the dark place. Keep your head up and keep on sparkin.
