Hello everyone! I'm glad to be part of such a helpful forum & wanted to share a bit about my background. I've been welding for about 20 years, first with STICK on a buzz box & later specialized in TIG. I spent more than 12 years with a leading global welding company ... And learned a ton, welding nearly all metals & using just about every process.

I'm a welding geek - admittedly & love to talk welding. I believe there are many ways to accomplish things & believe we can all learn something from each other, so I keep an open mind. I learned long ago - never say never & never say always, there's an exception to every rule.

I'm from the Midwestern USA & currently live in Wisconsin.

My passion is certainly TIG - spent many years on Syncrowaves, Aerowaves, Dynasty/Maxstars & all the competitors. But, it's nice to whip a 6010 or run some pulsed MIG too :)

But ... My trademark expression is that I like Tig because there's "no sparks, no spatter, no flux & no slag to chip away. Call me spoiled!!!
