Hi everyone - my names peter or pete whatever you think sounds better :)

I tought myself how to stick weld january this year (2013) and now I am at the point that I have 6011/7018 pretty much down verticle and horizontal and am working on overhead right now.
I also tinker with gas welding and have cut up some old farm euipment with oxy propane setup.
also trying to find a cheap MIG machine so i can start learning that.

I am 16 and when I started I figured ide just use it around the farm but then I started going online and found out more about it and am going to take the welding class the highschool offers (BTW I am Homeschooled) and maybe take it form there.

just figured ide say high and best of luck with whatever your doing,
Peter.

Welcome to the site Peter. Lots of good people here if you ever have a question about welding, cutting or whatever. Image
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.
