Hello everyone. I started welding when I was 19 and soon will be 60. I began as a pipe welder for a few years and have been a Boilermaker for the 36yrs. I am going to retire this January. Although I am ready for retirement, I'm not quite ready to hang my welding hood up yet. It has been several years since I owned a welding machine of my own, so I thought a new welder might be a nice retirement gift to myself. I started searching the web to get a better idea of what was available. I was very surprised at the price of the machines these days. I ran across THIS website on youtube, and was amazed at the knowledge and real welding skills of this guy named Jody. I watched many of his videos and saw the well known Red and Blue machines in the background but I kept seeing this Green machine. I had never seen a Green machine. ..... Sorry for being so long winded... Anyway he called it an Everlast. After doing some more research, and Jody liking the machine, I bought a 200DX inverter and at a great price. Just got it last week, and it looks great. Still doing some 220v wiring in my shop so have not tried it out yet but really looking forward to see just what this machine can do. This website has so many great ideas, projects and videos from people, like myself, that enjoy and want to learn Welding.
I look forward to watch and learn from my peers on this Website.

Thank You

Welcome aboard, RusT1,

Your experience will be appreciated here.

I've not yet used the green machine, but everything I've read says they have better customer support than blue, and for several years I've found that to be top-drawer.
