I just bought a millermatic 140 with autoselect? so I am having fun with it. Could always use pointers as I learned to weld with gas and stick so long ago. I bought the miller because I came across a deal to good to pass up.

Welcome to the site Boukreev.

I can't help you with the millermatic 140 but post your questions in the Mig forum and I'm sure you'll get plenty of help there.
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.
