Just wanted to say hello. I am finally taking a welding course at the local state college. I have always wanted to learn, but never had the opportunity. I've done a lot of jobs in my lifetime - electrician, mechanic, wrecker driver, etc, and even built my own house, but I never got a chance to learn to weld.

I'm hoping to use this forum to supplement the intro class I'm taking, along with the countless you-tube videos and training websites that are out there.

Eventually, I will be buying a welder to use at home, so I will be asking a lot of questions here when it's time for that.
