I just wanted to say hello. I am only a hobbyist/DIYer. I am always trying to learn and improve myself. I have been welding since I was just a kid on the farm and school. I am sure I will ask dumb things or not give all the info needed just please bear with me and I will try to get any info you need when I ask a question.

Hey Swadedvm, Nothing wrong with being a hobbyist/DIY anything, and something indeed good if it is welding.
That's how I started out, and I read everything I could (no internet then), and now I watch the videos, and listen to everyone, but, most importantly, I weld nearly every day, often for hours (including cutting, prep, etc).
