Welcome to the forum. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, welding interests, experience level, you know, that kind of thing.
We have people here with all levels of experience and your questions will usually be met with a well researched answer and very little drama. There's some good natured ribbing that goes on between some of the long time contributers but nobody will beat you over the head about asking even the most elementry questions. Just a bunch of folks who enjoy welding and sharing what we know with others.
If you have a question or two, throw them out and we'll set about getting you answers, simple as that.
