Kriky here.
I currently work as a sound mixer for television and film. I wanted to build a new sound cart for when I'm on location so I figured instead of pay someone $3k-$4k to do it I would buy a Tig welder and take my time learning then build my own cart with out the hassle of dealing with a third party. I'm a pretty quick learner and love the challenge of teaching myself how to weld aluminum. Once I get some hours in I have a friend that I'm going to meet up with to go through some tricks and to make sure I'm approaching everything correctly. Can't say my wife loves it because all I want to do now a days is head to the garage and melt some metal.

I purchased at the beginning of the year a Everlast 210EXT.

Looking forward to reading more of the forum.
