I'm looking for suggestions for a plasma torch to replace the S45 torch that came with my Everlast 205 that I bought many years ago. When I did a quick search I was surprised at some of the prices. Is there anything in the couple of hundred dollar range that is any good?

Okay, after browsing some more I see there are quite a few lower cost torches out there on ebay. The high priced ones I saw on welding supply sites were $400 and up.
What I am hoping for is a little better torch than the S45, and one for which the consumables are readily available. Now, the low cost torches on ebay showed lots of consumables available and I also found consumables for S45 torches. The last time I bought consumables for the S45 I had a difficult time finding them. So things have changed. Maybe I don't need a new torch?
