Hi Friends,
I have been working at my uncle's welding shop for past couple of years and I think I am good enough. I am planning to get a better job at any of the bigger companies. I discussed it with a professional recruiter near my home and they have arranged a few interviews for me over next couple of weeks. The problem is I don't have any certifications. I am willing to take one, but does it matter for someone with experience? Even if I should take a certification, which is better for finding a good job opportunity? I hope someone could advise me. Thanks.

Welcome.

I see the only welding position listed on this site is in Winsor, ON, and requires CWB tickets, so I'll defer to our Canadian friends for advising you on what certs to pursue.
