Hey guys, anybody know of any shops in or near San Diego that certifies welders? Ive been going to L.A but dont want to drive that far. How about Orange County or Riverside? Id like to do 6G both mild steel and stainless with SMAW and FCAW. Thanks.

Many welding schools also offer testing. Get in the Yellow Pages and call around. Be specific about the type of certificate you're after-- AWS, AMSE, whatever applies to your trade.

Google would be a good help for you to look for certified welders. Aside from that.. better yet check the Yellow Pages for certified local welders in your area.
