Welding Certification test Q&A and tips and tricks

I got a weld test comin up and its socket welds. I think its gonna be inconel, flux core, 7018, and tig. I think in all positions.This is my first test and im kinda nervous any tips please.

:roll: MOOSE - the first thing to do is find out what test you will be taking and what -exactly- is required. Then, practice, understand what goes wrong, Understand what is then right, and adapt what you do, to make it good enough to pass. Remember it only has to be good enough to pass. Your welding of the test- piece does not have to be an earth-shattering-perfection in welding! You only have to do well enough to pass.
