So are you saying that for you, a weave is some kind of eastern thought, meditative, Zen sort of thing? Do you become 'one' with the weld?

I like running stringer beads you did a great job they are not as easy as people think I will try to post pictures of a 3g but I only have 3/8 steel lying around. I like those rods too I buy them at Colorado compressed gas. And that root pass looked better than mine that's for sure.

Over here on spec work, weaving on downhand runs is illegal.
Stringers only with max width of 9x wire dia.

Vertical up can weave, but limits on width depending upon application. eg. 309 S/S on Manganese is 8mm or 5/16".
